Ash Creek Planting Event

Place: Monmouth Public Works (Exact meeting place will be sent closer to the day of the event)

This volunteer event is located along Ash Creek within Monmouth Public Works property. Volunteers will be planting container stock trees and shrubs in a current LWC restoration project site, and constructing protective cages to prevent deer from browsing these vulnerable young plants.

We will provide tools, gloves, snacks and a water cooler for water bottle fill-ups, but please bring your own water bottle for the event.

Please make sure to dress for the weather conditions, including long sleeves, long pants and water resistant, closed-toe shoes.
