Hannah Gosnell is a Professor of Geography in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University. Hannah does research on human dimensions of natural resource management related to environmental governance, collaborative conservation, social-ecological resilience, and transformation.
Angie Thompson (she/hers) is a graduate student in Oregon State University's Water Policy and Management program, and is studying the role of beaver related restoration in river and wetland regeneration. She has a background in permaculture and environmental education and spent many years sharing the joy of science with students in camp and back country environments. After spending the past few years running her own permaculture landscaping company and creating backyard habitats, she realized that beavers are the ultimate habitat-creators and decided to become a professional advocate for their reintroduction and protection going forward, and will talk about them to anyone who will listen. |
