CANCELED: Earth Day Ivy Pull

**COVID-19 Update: In order to comply with the latest federal and CDC recommendations and recent state requirements, we are canceling or postponing all of our April events. We hope to reschedule some of them for later in the year, and will continue to update our event calendar in the coming weeks. Please click here for a message from LWC Executive Director, Kristen Larson.**

Earth Day Ivy Pull at Middle Fork Ash Creek

Date:  Saturday, April 25
Time:  10:00am - 1:00pm
Place: Private Property along Ash Creek, in Monmouth

(Details will be emailed to you after you sign up)

Spend the morning at a streamside conservation easement along Middle Fork Ash Creek and help us free some beautiful old oaks - some of them over 200 years old - from the grip of invasive ivy. There is no parking at the site, so you will receive instructions to park at the landowner's property near Western Oregon University's Gentle House. From there, we will be shuttling volunteers to and from the ivy pull site. Please be sure to wear sturdy shoes or boots, and protective clothing (long pants and sleeves). If you have work gloves, clippers or loppers, feel free to bring them with you, or simply borrow ours - we will have plenty of all to go around! Come celebrate Earth Day by showing your watershed some LOVE!
