Join us for a fun and educational canoe trip on the Luckiamute River, where you’ll explore local history and river ecology! Take a journey through time with park rangers Steve Hernandez and Ricardo Rodriguez as you paddle the Luckiamute River. Along the way, you’ll learn how past industries shaped the river, uncover the hidden lives of freshwater mussels, hear stories of historic log drives, and discover how beavers help keep our waterways healthy. It’s a hands-on adventure that connects Oregon’s natural history with its cultural roots!
This event is open to anyone over the age of 6 years old.
