Izzy Mason, owner of Purposeful Landscapes LLC, is an Urban Forestry specialist and passionate native plant advocate with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Forestry from Oregon State University (2018). She spent five years working as an arborist, where she developed a deep understanding of tree health, landscape ecology, and sustainable practices. In 2020, Izzy founded her own landscaping company with a focus on restoring ecosystems through the use of native plants. Her work emphasizes the importance of biodiversity, pollinator support, and creating spaces that reflect the natural beauty of the region. By blending science, design, and environmental stewardship, Izzy helps clients build resilient, ecologically sound landscapes that thrive in local conditions.

Jessica Wright is an ecologically minded landscape designer based in Albany, Oregon. In 2018, she founded Earth & Spirit, which specializes in native habitat garden design, to help homeowners create landscapes that support wildlife, conserve water, and provide a place to find peace and connection to the local natural world. She holds a degree in horticultural design, a permaculture design certificate, and is a qualified water-efficient landscaper. Jessica offers full design services, including detailed 3D renderings, as well as seasonal maintenance and personalized coaching for DIY gardeners to implement their own garden design projects. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, participating in local conservation projects, and brewing native plant teas.
