In this talk, Dr. Matthew Sloat, Science Director at Wild Salmon Center, draws on far flung experiences in Kamchatka and the Russian Far East as well as work in our home watersheds on the Oregon Coast to explore the ideals and realities of safeguarding a future for Pacific salmon. Come enjoy a tale of some of our watershed's most iconic native fish, while enjoying some of Valkyrie's outstanding wines and special menu selections!
This pub talk is co-sponsored by Willamette Habitat Restoration, a private fund which is dedicated to supporting habitat restoration and education projects throughout the Willamette Valley.
