Join local bird experts Tim Johnson and Harry Fuller at Luckiamute State Natural Area's North Unit, where we will walk through this natural area's iconic gallery forest and alongside open meadow and wetland habitat. If time permits, we will also walk down to view the confluence of the Luckiamute and Santiam Rivers with the mighty Willamette River! Along the way, we will be 'hunting' for red-breasted sapsuckers, screech owls, red-eyed vireos, and more! A big thank you goes to Willamette Habitat Restoration Fund for providing the funding that allows us to make this event free of charge!
**Please note that COVID-19 health and safety guidelines for outdoor gatherings will be followed, which means that every participant must wear a mask when they cannot maintain 6 feet of distance from another participant. You can view all of our event safety guidelines by clicking here.**
