Come enjoy a flight of delicious locally crafted liqueurs while listening to excerpts from a brand new anthology, "Where the Fish Live and Breathe: An anthology of poetry and short fiction about Ash Creek." This collection of poems and short stories was created by students from Central High School through a grant by the Ash Creek Water Control District, and is inspired by the students' feelings about Ash Creek, a tributary to the Willamette River that runs through Monmouth and Independence.

​CHS Creative writing teacher, Ben Gorman, will read some of the contributions within this anthology, and copies of the book will be available for sale during the event. All proceeds from book sales will go to support the CHS students!
