Please note that this event will involve just over a mile of walking on mowed paths and gravel roads, and will explore a variety of habitats including ponds, riparian areas with mixed hardwood & conifer forests, oak woodlands, upland prairie and coniferous forests. Make sure to dress for the weather, wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, and bring your water bottle. You are also invited to bring a bag lunch and a lawn chair for an optional picnic lunch at the J2E Pond after the bird walk. Don't forget your binoculars, bird guide, and/or camera!
