We are looking for volunteers to help retrieve stream temperature loggers from the waterways we are monitoring!

 Date:  Wednesday, October 12 and Friday, October 14
Time:  Most of the day (6 hours each day)
Place: Various locations around the Luckiamute watershed 

Description: Volunteers are needed to help LWC Monitoring Coordinator Amanda Brackett to retrieve stream temperature loggers (recording devices) from various Luckiamute tributaries. 

​This activity will involve:

• Walking in streams (tall boots or waders needed)
• Walking through blackberries and brush in steep terrain to reach the streams (<1/2 mile).  

Interested volunteers may either ride with Amanda in her vehicle or bring their own vehicle, but please note that getting to the sites will require driving on forest roads that may be in rough shape.

Also, please plan on bringing sufficient water, lunch, snacks and potentially rain gear and warm layers, depending on the weather.
